I thought Pre-Searing was the whole game lol. After I finished all the quests I could find, I spent like a week running around trying to get to new areas. A friend of mine who was new also, he knew about Post-Searing, but he never told me about it. So he left Pre-Searing while I was still wandering around. And one day we were going to meet, we decided to meet in Ascalon, but we couldn't lol. We ended up saying rude things to each other lol I'm in Ascalon! Ascalon! District 1! District 1!!

Survivor titles.

Identify white items.

I wish I'd known that there would be a survivor title.

I wish I'd known that treasure hunter and wisdom would one day be account-based.....all those high-end chests I found and didn't open because I wasn't on my main character at the time

I wish I'd known that the rare mat prices would be 'reset' at Factions release....didn't have much money at the time, but enough to buy a fair few 100g ecto's that would have subsequently made my early playing days a bit easier (or cheaper).

Since I started not long before factions, Prophecies was the only thing around. I wish I knew that one of the first things I could have done (provided money was had) was just a run all through the important places like LA, Droks, desert, etc. (The total would have been around 10k, and I didn't make a lot of money back then).

I also wish I knew what farming was, I would have grinded some things to level up a bit more. But instead I kept trekking through the long, awful story. I didn't see level 20 for weeks.

i have played for 40 months, got quite a few sup abs runes, but not a single sup vigor!

wish i had known about quite a few farms before their nerfs... i always tend to hear about a farm, and by the time i get round to making a char ready for it, they nerf it :P

-edit-
i also wish i had known about the zkey title... i was saving for a while, got 600k (a lot for me) and one day blew it all on zkeys. got no decent drops... a month later the ztitle was introduced :/

That ecto prices were apparently once different in the different territory's.

Find someone in another territory via international district and make a mint...

I started gw on day 1 and I wish I had know that leaving pre when you still had quests active wasnt a big deal.
I deleted my char and made a new one.

that they would drop the chapter content and totally stagnate meta by not using that as a basis to cycle skills a la MTG.

I wish I had known how much this game would end up sucking. Baw baw black sheep, have you any refunds.

And in case you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic.

I wish I knew which quests I should avoid turning in for the reward.

E.g., Mayhem in the Market for ferrying alts to Vizunah Square Local Quarter, The Path to Revelations for Norn farming, etc.

That they'd betrayed the playerbase and started making a new game, despite telling people during beta that "We're in this for a long haul" etc etc.

GW3 is gonna be announced how many years after GW2, two? less than that?
